For most of the sites, Joe and the team were able to use USSL fixtures and Axcent wallpacks with great success.

The Public Safety building required more planning.

“When the police force has complained about the poor lighting where officers park their cars, you take those safety concerns very seriously,” said Joe.

The County wanted this job done promptly, so Joe had to create a new lighting layout fairly quickly.

“Light ARchitect was a big help,” says Joe. “I was still kind of new to the App at the time, but I was able to use it to try several different lighting configurations and fixtures using the County’s existing pole locations.”

“It only took an hour of trying out various options using Light ARchitect to come up with the right solution for this particular project: four UFLD Floodlights.”

Joe and the team’s last project for Henry County was completed recently. The County Commissioners are very pleased with the results, not to mention the fast turnaround Joe was able to accomplish, in part because of the flexibility of the App.

Joe ads, “I’ve gotten more and more comfortable with the Light ARchitect app and have started to use it whenever I need to get a layout knocked out quickly for a customer. Or, simply to confirm my fixture recommendations for certain applications.” In those cases, Joe sends the lighting designs he creates with the App to SouthCon so a second pair of eyes can look over his fixture selections.
