HALO Home and The Garage

The Garage is an urban-chic, contemporary living space in the Warehouse / Arts District of Downtown New Orleans. Once known as "Stephen's Garage", a car dealership of over 50 years, it now boasts a mix of 60+ apartments and condominia, a car elevator, fitness center and rooftop pool. All of its units are illuminated by smart wireless lighting and controls from HALO Home.
 

The conversion from parking deck to world-class luxury accommodations with technology-driven design was an enormous undertaking. The focus of capturing the energy of a historic industrial concrete garage combined with a clean modern open-concept aesthetic created a significant challenge for discretely positioning energy efficient lighting and controls within the units. HALO Home offered the perfect wireless smart lighting system to meet the challenge.

• Smart Dimmers were used to create HALO Home-enabled circuits for track and vanity lighting while wireless Anyplace Dimmers were positioned throughout to avoid unsightly wiring conduit.
  
• The higher-end condos used Smart Recessed Downlights, offering white-tuning and enabling voice control for those using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant.
