Halo® Eco-Twist™ takes energy efficient compact fluorescent lighting to the next generation of technology with a NEW twist compact fluorescent lamp and ballast system. The H578ICAT incorporates this new CFL technology in an insulated ceiling housing rated for direct contact with ceiling insulation. The H578ICAT AIRTITE™ housing design prevents airflow between attic and living areas and saves on both heating and air conditioning costs. The electronic compact fluorescent ballast is a new multiwattage design allowing complete interchangeability between 16, 21,and 28 watt lamps. The Halo Eco-Twist system is designed to allow easy transition from energy-consuming incandescent lamps to a new generation of energy-saving, low profile, high color CFLs. Halo Eco-Twist accomplishes this transition by offering direct compatibility with a wide selection of current Halo trims designed originally for the incandescent “A-lamp”.
